In Ground Swimming Pool Design
When you begin your in ground swimming pool build, a GTD Construction representative will sit down with you and go over what you are looking to build in your backyard. We have experience in all swimming pool sizes, shapes, finishes and features. If you want a basic rectangle swimming pool with a spa, we can help. If you want to go all out and build a backyard oasis to include waterfalls, slides, splash pad areas and a custom swimming pool we are Tremonton Utahs experts in this area. Our design team will ensure you get the exact backyard build that you are looking for.
Swimming Pool Excavation
Once you are happy with the design of your backyard inground swimming pool we will schedule a time that works best for you to begin the excavation. We bring in all the equipment and can provide any testing for your soil type that might be needed. Our company will ensure all required permits are pulled and all setbacks and local codes are followed. We excavate with precision the exact shape and design of your custom swimming pool and spa.
Rebar, plumbing, and shotcrete for your backyard pool and spa
After excavation we lay out all the plumbing for your swimming pool. We run all the plumbing back to a central location to later connect your pumps, heaters, water features, and filters. In addition to the plumbing we set all your lighting, and rebar. After everything is laid out and built to engineering specs we will bring in our shotcrete team and your backyard swimming pool will begin to take shape.
Custom Tile, cover, and coping choices for your new pool.
After the typical concrete cure time of 27 days, our tile setters will then take over. They ensure all the walls are perfectly straight and level and tile to exact heights. The swimming pool cover track is then installed. The coping will be installed on your swimming pool after this cover track. You have many options for coping to choose from to include; travertine, brick, concrete, and many more.
Swimming Pool Equipment Setup by GTD Construction
After the tile and coping is complete we will build out your equipment package. This is where we connect the pumps, heater, filter, blower, and any other optional equipment you might have to your swimming pool automatic hub. You will have the ability to control all your features and equipment either at the hub or remotely on your smart device.
Plastering and decking
The final step to complete your swimming pool is the plaster. This is installed last because within a day or two of plaster, the swimming pool is filled and will be brushed 3 times daily to ensure the plaster sets properly. Whatever decking you decide around the pool will then be installed along with any slides, diving boards, or other feature you may request.
